Frequently Asked Questions
These are tokens that all registered users on proxycheck.io receive (quantity dependent on your plan type) which when used allows for your daily query allowance to increase by five times. So if you have a 10,000 daily query limit it will become 50,000 when a burst token is used.
The tokens are redeemed automatically when you go over your normal query allowance and act as a buffer for you to take action without having any of your queries to us denied during unusually high usage.
When a token is used it lasts until the next daily reset (12:00 AM UTC-07:00 Mountain Time). Each type of plan we offer has a set amount of available tokens every month and there is nothing for you to configure or activate, tokens are distributed and redeemed automatically.
What are Custom Rules?
Custom Rules allow you to alter how the proxycheck.io API responds to your queries. By default only the first triggered rule will run but you can alter this behaviour using a toggle at the top of each rule. You can also drag and drop your rules to re-arrange the order in which they're executed.

What are Custom Lists?
This is where you can specify multiple lists of Email addresses, IP addresses, IP ranges or ASN numbers for use in your custom rules or to be whitelisted or blacklisted. You can enter in the data manually or have them be automatically downloaded from a webpage you control by our servers on a regular schedule.`
